BIO
Rochelle Riser, a Nashville-based singer/songwriter from rural Sibley, Iowa, combines her Midwestern roots with country and folk influences to craft vivid, storytelling lyrics. Inspired by legends like Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch, Riser’s songs explore themes ranging from young romance to mental health. Her voice, described as spanning "ethereal heights and down-to-earth intimacy," has drawn comparisons to Brandi Carlile and Alison Krauss.
Riser’s 2023 single “The Flood” was featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlists, and she has performed on prominent stages like Musician's Corner in Nashville. She is also featured on the Netflix film Big Foot Family soundtrack. Now recording her debut project, set for a fall 2025 release, Riser says, “This core group of songs show who I am as a writer and an artist.”
